Central Board of Secondary Education

Central Board of Secondary Education conducts two examinations under 10+2 school system in India. Namely, the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE-Year10) and All India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE-Year-12). The subject choices and syllabi prescribed for the examinations are varied and aimed at nurturing the unique gifts of students. The Diksha School offers an AISSE (Year 10) and AISSCE (Year-12) examination in the near future.
The All India Secondary School Examination (Year 10) follows a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, through the medium of English.
The-All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class-12), is held after a two year course of studies beyond the Year 10 examination through the medium of English.
The CBSE has introduced several interesting, forward-looking and child-centric curricular areas, which have been incorporated into our curriculum.

Curriculum Primary(Grade1-5) & Middle (Grade 6-8)-Section

Our primary and Middle year programme bring in opportunities for different styles of learning with special focus on blossoming intelligences. With activities centered round observation and discovery, our students are empowered with life skills, critical thinking and creative skills.
Collaborative learning is a regular feature, and children learn to work together as well as independently. Through progression from year to year, there is broadening of the curriculum with increase in cognitive challenges.
Teachers ensure “whole Class” learning and purpose of Assessment is to reflect the quality of the students understanding of the concepts.
At the end of the Primary Programme, our students confidently make a foray into the Middle School. In the Middle School years, self-reliance in learning becomes an important aim. Attention is given to the requisite level in each subject by defining attainment standards.
Children learn to set goals and have long terms objectives.

Curriculum-Secondary Section (Grade 9 & 10)

The knowledge and skills gained during the Middle School years equip the students with a firm academic foundation to pursue a variety of educational options in the future. Throughout the curriculum, students are presented with opportunities to research, solve problem and come to their own conclusions and form decisions.
